Welcome, everyone!
This is a forum for current Norwich cadets to chat with each other, discuss their experiences, or whatever else is on their minds.
We are asking you to keep your conversations respectful of others.

I don't know who set this website up, but thank you. It is about time we all have a place to go to vent at Jackman for their (real or percieved) misguidance, how MOST civilian students (not all) disgrace my beautiful upper parade ground, and to meet up with old friends when away from the hill (like me- right now a am at Ft. Bragg). So to all of my fellow cadets and soon-to-be cadet Rooks- don't mess up this gift we have been given with stupid and rediculus posts.

Hi Jason, I'm so glad you're here! This website started when my friend, Dennis Berube '97-98 and I were discussing the shortcomings of other forums we've seen, and decided that those who were into online forums needed a dedicated place for all members of the Norwich community to really discuss their thoughts.
When I was at Norwich, I found that so many students wanted an outlet for open discussion in which they could feel comfortable and safe from any --as you put it-- real or perceived retribution. Though I love it, The Norwich Guidon only prints signed letters to the editor, and this doesn't always encourage students to express their thoughts fully or with their own "voice." I'd like to think of this place as a virtual "Mess Hall" or "Mill" for students, alumni, and friends to gather via cyberspace.
This forum offers "psuedo-anonymity," meaning that you can express your opinions here under a screen name, and really only face repercussions if someone provides us with a court order to reveal your name or location.
It is my hope that we can keep this forum a quality one. Thanks for your support!
Best wishes to you at Ft. Bragg!

This was a great idea, I have searched for such a place in the past but there was never really one that you would want to visit on a daily basis. Now we just need to get the word OUT!! Then the fun can really start
I have already IMed everyone I know at norwich about this place, and I plan to put up flyers around the school, so hopefully that will work

Great idea, Amanda -- and I hope the word does get around to current students. This is a great way to vent and express ideas of improving the school we all love. The Norwich Experience is one in which all teenagers should participate. This would be a much better world (IMHO) if 'twere so!
